BASC is a charitable organization dedicated to the nurture and promotion of Bengali and Indian culture, language, and religion for the Southern California community through educational, religious, and charitable activities.

Membership Fee includes:
- Durga Puja (Puja, 5 major meals, entertainment)
- Laxmi Puja (Puja, Dinner and Entertainment)
- Saraswati Puja (Puja, 2 meals and Entertainment)
- Picnic and all other BASC events
- খেয়া and Ankur magazines. Note that this year BASC will collect a token contribution of $1 for each magazine in order to prevent wastage.
