Movie Rang Milanti - সিনেমা রং মিলান্তি

Recent reviews suggest Bangla Cinema is back on track in producing quality films. There is a new batch of directors, new talents in acting - result is excellent movies.

BASC has successfully screened many of those so far. On 4th December we are screening “Rang Milanti”. The movie is written and directed by Kaushik Ganguly who has a credit of directing “Just Another Love Story”, Jackpot” and “Shunyo E Bukey”, all are rated high (above 6) in IMDB (www.imdb.com). It’s cast includes Saswata Chatterjee, Churni Ganguly, Ridhima Ghosh, Gourab Chatterjee, Tanaji Dasgupta and many others.

Plot Summary
Rang Milanti is actually a fictitious game invented and devised by the script. It comprises of ‘matching’ and ‘ticking’ the right ‘colour’ of a pretty girl’s would-be life partner from ten different ‘tests’ each with equal degree of difficulty.

Kamalika, Rik, Laden, DJ and Tito have been close friends since they were kids. The friendship has sustained over time though each one has ventured into a different field of human endeavour. As they grow up, their friendship undergoes a metamorphosis as each young man finds himself falling in love with the only girl in the group, Kamalika. Kamalika has a bigger problem – she loves all four of them and says so. Who will she choose when the time comes?
