Sanskar is what defines the root of any person. History is also the biggest teacher in world. Being far away from our origin and with the absence of proper educational facilities, it is never easy for the parents of young Bengali kids to teach them about their heritage. We hope this Bangla School will give us the opportunity to make them familiar with the rich culture that they are part. We expect this will create a strong bond and sense of pride among themselves thus giving the strength of belongingness lasting forever in their journey of life.
Goals and Curriculum
- Increase Bengali vocabulary
- Enable them and make a habit to speak in Bangla with other kids in class and with Bengali parents and relatives
- Learn dramas, songs, music and perform in Saraswati Puja, Rabindra Jayanti, Durga Puja etc. cultural gatherings
