Sports Committee

BASC has started a Sports Committee chaired by Dr. Chitto Sarkar. We have plans to organize various popular sports events throughout the year.

If you are interested in participating in any of the following events, please contact one of the organizers below or send email to sports@bascweb.org.

Schedule of these games will be announced later depending on the number of responses received. Note that more sports events are going to be organized in coming months. Trophy for all events will be given at BASC Durga Puja on Oct 9.

There is a small entry fee for each event.

Except Golf, a single event entry fee per person is $10. If you are participating in more than one event, the entry fee for second and subsequent events will be $5. If you are participating in a lot of activities, the total entry fees of all events will be capped at $30.

For Golf, the entry fee is $50 per person.

Therefore if you are interested in playing Golf, Carrom single and doubles and Table Tennis singles, the entry fee should be : $50 + $10 + $5 +$ 5 = $70.

If you are participating all the sports events except Golf, your entry fee will be $30.
